SAN CHOY BAU
1/3 cup oyster sauce
2 tbs soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbs vegetable oil
2 heaped tsp of The Food Company’s Garlic Ginger & Shallots
2 green shallots, thinly sliced (keep one for garnish)
400g bag of ready to stir fry traditional vegetables
16 iceberg lettuce cups
2 tbs toasted sesame seed
Coriander sprigs for garnish
500g of turkey or chicken mince
Combine oyster sauce, soy sauce and sesame oil in a vessel.
Heat a wok or large frying pay over a high heat.
Add half the oil and swirl around wok, then add the two teaspoons of The Food Company’s Garlic Ginger & Shallots and the additional chopped shallots, stir for 1 minute.
Add mince and cook, stirring for 5 minutes or until meat is browned.
Add sauce and vegetables to the wok, toss until combined.
Cover and cook for 2 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Lay out lettuce cups onto a serving dish. Spoon mince mixture into the cups.
Sprinkle with extra shallots, sesame seeds and coriander sprigs.
